—wow. Wow okay, now I get it. That was…that was horrifically cheesy. I’m not laughing. I’m not laughing. Definitely not laughing.”
Will bit his lip, desperately trying to hold back his own laughter. “I feel like I’m going to have to handcuff you to me in future just so I can supervise just how much you’re drinking, you know?”
“William, taking advantage of a poor drunk woman? Naughty boy.” She purred softly, wrapping her arms around his neck. “You can handcuff me any time you want.”

“Yeah Henry, I know. You don’t have to keep reminding me every chance you get.” She ran her hand through her hair, semi-glaring at him. “In fact, what are you even still doing with me? “You do matter. A lot, okay? You do matter as much as she does because you’re still the same person to me! Younger, yeah, but the same person! But…she’s a big part of my life Doc, no matter whether I’m here or there, and if you can’t handle that…it’s not good for either of us if I’m here.”
“Right, yeah. Um..It’s probably best if I don’t go with you to pick up Carson. You know how to fly the TARDIS, just have Thirteen send her back when you’re done.” She grabbed her jacket and walked out the door, resolving to get away as fast as she could before he saw her crying again.
